As we all know a Pheasant
would rather run than take to the sky for a good shot. Especially a planted or
dizzy bird. I have come up with this idea to eliminate shaking, choking, and
pulling the legs on a bird to get him to set. With these hobbles attached to the
legs all you have to do is tuck the head under the wing, walk over to where you
want to place it then lay it down and walk away. You will find the bird will
stay in place, wide awake and ready to flush. They bust out like a bird in the
wild and are easier to find for your clients and guides.
In the past we have run
into problems with our bird planters putting the birds down to hard or not hard
enough. The customers would always let you know if they didn’t find all of
their birds or if the birds would not fly. Not any more the customers love
them, the bird planters love them and the guides love them. Flushing dogs will
not catch them and pointing dogs will not put their nose on them. Stop and think
about it, is a dizzy bird going to fly like one that has just been set down.
Here are the positives of
the hobbles. No training the bird planters, no need for a lot of setters. One
setter can set as many as three planters in the same time and do it
consistently. Return customers requesting hobbles. The percentage of seen and
harvested birds will go up immediately. Late season when the cover is beat down
and when the roosters start going crazy, the customers quit hunting. Introduce
these hobbles and the hunters will keep coming until you shut them off. More
hunts More PROFIT.
If you have a neighboring
club that don’t use these hobbles, in time you will have all of his business.
Take these hobbles out and
try them for yourself, you can’t believe how much they will help your club. If
you like them please call in your order. At this time they are $30. per hundred
or $250. per thousand plus shipping. Also they are reusable when the hunters
bring their harvest in to be cleaned simply remove them and reuse them on the
next release.
When ordering Please
include $10. for shipping and handling.
Thanks
